This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use BeatMotion Studio (our mobile application, the “App”). By using BeatMotion Studio, you agree to this policy.
Depending on how you use BeatMotion Studio, it may access:
BeatMotion Studio does not collect, store, or use face data as a separate category (for example, face geometry, faceprints, facial recognition templates, or emotion inference). The App does not use Apple’s Vision, ARKit face tracking, or similar APIs to analyze your face.
When you choose to record a dance take, the App uses the device camera and microphone to capture a normal video file on your device, the same way a standard camera app would. That video may incidentally include your face or body because you are on camera; we do not extract facial features from that video for identification, advertising profiles, or sale to third parties.
Planned use: Recorded and exported video is used only to provide the App’s features you request (preview, trim, effects, and saving to your Photo Library when you tap Save to Photos). Processing stays on your device unless you choose to share the file outside the App.
Sharing with third parties: We do not upload your dance recordings or exports to BeatMotion Studio servers. We do not provide your video to Google or other partners for face analysis. On the free tier, Google AdMob may receive technical/ad-related data when an optional interstitial ad loads before save (see sections 3–4); that is separate from your dance video content.
Storage and retention: Project files remain in the App’s local storage on your device until you delete them or remove the App. If you save to Photos, the copy is in your library under your control. We do not retain copies on our servers.
If you do not have an active BeatMotion Studio Pro subscription, BeatMotion Studio may show a full-screen interstitial advertisement when you start Save to Photos, immediately before the video is written to your library. Subscribers do not see this ad.
Ads are served through Google AdMob (Google). When an ad loads or displays, Google’s SDK may process technical and usage-related data on Google’s systems to deliver and measure advertising, consistent with Google’s policies and your device settings (including App Tracking Transparency, as described in the next section). We do not control Google’s data practices.
For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s AdMob data disclosure for developers (which describes categories of data commonly associated with the SDK).
On supported versions of iOS, Apple provides App Tracking Transparency (ATT). BeatMotion Studio uses Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework so that, where required, the App requests your permission before accessing the advertising identifier (IDFA) for purposes that Apple defines as tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
When you may see the prompt: For BeatMotion Studio, the system ATT dialog (if your choice is still “not determined” for this App) is requested when you tap Save to Photos and the App is about to load the optional free-tier interstitial ad, so the request is tied to the moment advertising may run—not to unrelated features like importing audio or recording before you choose to save. Subscribers do not see that ad in this flow; they therefore will not get this ATT prompt from BeatMotion Studio for that ad placement.
If you decline or limit tracking: Ads may still be shown, but measurement and personalization may be limited in line with Apple’s rules, your choice in the ATT dialog, and settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. You can change your mind later in those settings.
The short explanation in the App’s App Store listing and the text shown on the system permission sheet (when Apple displays it) summarize why we ask for that permission in the context of advertising.
BeatMotion Studio Pro is billed monthly. Purchases, introductory offers, renewals, and cancellation are handled through Apple. Apple processes information needed to complete the transaction according to Apple’s privacy policy. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Use of the licensed App is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) where applicable.
We do not collect your project videos, recordings, or imported audio on BeatMotion Studio’s servers. Camera, microphone, Files, and Photo Library access are used on your device only to run the features you choose (for example, playing and looping your track, recording a take, applying export styling, and saving to your library when you ask to save).
We do not use your media or file imports for our own analytics, advertising profiles, or background “product improvement” workflows.
Apple processes subscription-related information as described above. On the free tier, Google may process ad-related information as described in sections 3 and 4. We do not sell your personal information.
Project media you create remains on your device unless you export or remove it. We do not operate a BeatMotion Studio cloud backup of your videos as part of this policy unless we separately disclose an optional feature in BeatMotion Studio.
BeatMotion Studio is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of BeatMotion Studio after changes means you accept the revised policy.
