Record slow. Perform sharp.

BeatMotion Studio is an iOS app for dancers, choreographers, and creators who want to practice or film to slowed-down music while still ending up with a polished, normal-speed video you can save and share.

What you can do

  • Import music from Files, organize it in your in-app library, and use Create New Project to start a take.
  • Set a loop and slow the reference track while you rehearse or film.
  • Record with camera and mic while you hear the slowed audio; export is a normal-speed video you can polish in preview.
  • Save to Photos when you’re happy—free tier adds a small corner mark and may show an ad before save; BeatMotion Studio Pro drops the watermark and the ad.

How it works

Import & choose audio — Add tracks from the Files app (Import Audio), browse them in Audio Library, then tap Create New Project and pick the song for this take (MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC).

Set loop & speed — Trim the section you want to rehearse, preview it, then choose how slow the reference plays while you work.

Record your take — Film with the camera and microphone; you hear the slowed track in your earphones while recording.

Preview & save — BeatMotion Studio builds your normal-speed performance video; add a look if you like, then Save to Photos. Free saves include a small corner mark and may show a full-screen ad before the save finishes; BeatMotion Studio Pro removes the watermark and the ad.

Privacy & subscriptions

Your projects are built around media on your device. Subscriptions are handled through Apple’s system—we don’t receive your purchase or billing information from them. On the free tier, saving to Photos may show a full-screen ad before the export finishes; subscribers do not see that ad (see the Privacy Policy).
